Kind of like me and rap ..I guess. I still prefer music over the Ghetto talk with a beat --though my son and some of his buddies do enjoy the rap. Old dog new tricks sort of thing. If you upload a pic of your dad; I can place it in the "cancer warriors" area ...if you like.
Thankyou kindly for the very warm welcome to this admirable site. Sadly I have not been able to convince my ailing father to be online at all and even at the ripe old age of 85 he has resisted such advanced technology ever since the aircraft cockpits he occupied for decades had triplicated computers installed. The very idea of a machine checking the captain's flightpath is anathema to him! He prefers to do star shots today as he did when night flying Lancaster Bombers with a massive 1000 lb dambuster bomb to drop over the German Ruhr factories more than 60 years ago!
Thanks for joining Nate's Network David. Let me know if there's anything we can do to make this network better for you ..and please invite your father to join if he's online. We'd love to have him as a part of this community.

About Me:
My father in the UK has been battling skin cancer lately and is receiving treatment. His having flown as an airline captain far too close to the sun is probably to blame. Having been bombarded by the solar high energy at 40,000 feet for most of anyone's life is far from being unusual. He also has had more than his fair share of problems due to his own father dying of lung cancer when he was a boy, so his current pouts of stomach cancer has eaten away at him for the past decade. We are grateful for his being positive and very much alive to this very day despite the medical profession writing off those who are 80+ years of age.
