IT'S A NATE UPDATE...

Nathan met with the Oncologist on Monday to go over the results of the CT, MRI and Ultrasounds of the past couple of weeks. According to the findings of the MRI, the brain tumor continues to shrink, the CT scan and Ultrasound reveal nothing of significance. Apparently, the chemo continues to do it's work.... The count remains below 5.

His energy level is increasing slowly. He is back to work, but is working a short day, so as not to get over tired and run down. He's back to the gym mor

NEW VIEW OF THE WORLD...

FROM DIAGNOSIS TO TREATMENT AND ONTO SURVIVAL MODE. My new AND IMPROVED view of the world since Nathan's diagnosis is one of positive attitude and seeing the beauty of each and every single new day.

Cancer has been for me, a disease that had haunted someone else. Although this disease has not affected my body directly, it has now indeed had a direct effect of my life personally. Well, I have done an amazing amount of reading and continue to learn more about cancers, and it's infiltrati

TUESDAYS (TWO WEDNESDAYS FOLLOWING MEMORIAL DAY)

FYI -- Tuesday will be Bleo Day -- Bleomycin is the 15 minute treatment that ends up being 15 HOURS of hell!!! Now we know how ugly Tuesdays may be from now through the end of Nathan's chemo treatments. Please know that on these days, he is extremely fatigued and it's probably not a good day for visitors. He'll be sleeping alot, and may or may not have his phone turned on. Remember though, the day following Bleo is much better for him.

PLEASE NOTE--NATE CANNOT EAT FATTY FOODS

Unfortunately, Nate was sick last night. His diet has changed as of TODAY!!! He really is unable to eat FATTY FOODS any longer. This includes cheese, chocolate, red meats, nuts and any sauces. It's amazing how GREAT he felt during chemo last week. However, now he's feeling VERY tired and nauseous. And, although all of his friends and family love being around him, visits with Nathan at this time should be LIMITED. He gets extremely tired, and needs more rest more often now. Please, if you are goi… Continue
