FROM DIAGNOSIS TO TREATMENT AND ONTO SURVIVAL MODE. My new AND IMPROVED view of the world since Nathan's diagnosis is one of positive attitude and seeing the beauty of each and every single new day.

Cancer has been for me, a disease that had haunted someone else. Although this disease has not affected my body directly, it has now indeed had a direct effect of my life personally. Well, I have done an amazing amount of reading and continue to learn more about cancers, and it's infiltration of the human race. Cancer continues to become more and more prevalent in our lives. We are all on the go; and in an attempt to be able to fit more activity into our 24 hour day, we've gotten sucked into the world of the drive-through, greasy spoon, microwaveable eating and drinking frenzy. Our environment is out of control!!!

I say, "it's time to stop the madness." Take time to stop and smell the roses; to lay on our backs and count the stars; to spend time talking and really listening to our friends and family.
